1. OVERNIGHT MOVES

A mild, coordinated green session across the watchlist with no structural conviction. BTC $62,762 (+1.2%), ETH $1,748.88 (+0.7%), SOL $78.04 (+1.0%). None of the three has reclaimed a meaningful level: BTC remains $12,238 below the former $75k floor, ETH is $251 off $2k, and SOL is $1.96 shy of $80 after briefly holding above it for three sessions last week. BTC dominance ticked up to 56.1% from 55.8% on Tuesday — the first increase in four sessions — signaling capital flowing back into BTC proportionally faster than alts on this bounce. SOL's relative-strength run that began June 26 is cooling; today's +1.0% lags BTC's +1.2%, a reversal of the multi-week pattern. Volume across all three is below average. This is a low-conviction tape.

The trending board shows a notable compositional shift: Arbitrum (ARB) enters the top seven for the first time in this entire data set. It joins Bitcoin, LAB, Cash Cat (CASHCAT), The Black Bull (ANSEM), Ethereum, and Pudgy Penguins (PENGU). ANSEM persists at #5 — now 13 consecutive days, exceeding Hyperliquid's 14-day streak as the longest sustained non-mega-cap run observed. LAB re-enters after a brief absence (last seen July 5). Cash Cat holds from yesterday's debut. PENGU maintains its single meme slot. No Hyperliquid (HYPE), no Bittensor (TAO), no Solana infrastructure names.

2. NARRATIVE PULSE

Two shifts beneath the stale green tape that most traders have not indexed: Arbitrum (ARB) enters as the first L2 scaling narrative signal in over a month. The last L2 to trend was Optimism (OP) on May 30–31, which faded immediately. ARB's appearance today, on a board otherwise dominated by low-cap persistence and memes, forces the question: is the market finally rotating toward Ethereum L2 infrastructure after weeks of ignoring it? No vault research exists on ARB, and the single-day entry is unconfirmed, but the compositional shift is the freshest narrative vector on the board since the Telegram ecosystem probe (GRAM/HMSTR) on July 4. The Black Bull (ANSEM) run at 13 consecutive days is now a structural market signal, not a token signal. The persistence exceeds every low-cap run in the vault data except HYPE's 14-day streak. No catalyst, no vault research, no price data. The market is allocating sustained mindshare to the lowest-friction name because it has no higher-conviction thesis to accumulate. Traders should stop analyzing ANSEM as an asset and start reading it as a barometer of narrative drought.

LAB's return after a 34-day gap (July 5) and again today suggests the pre-drawdown speculative circuit is recycling names, not discovering new ones. Cash Cat (CASHCAT) at #3 has zero vault research — treat as hunting noise unless volume sustains into Friday.

3. THESIS CHECK

The active BTC thesis from the vault — "wait for a reclaim of $75k on BTC with rising volume before treating this as anything other than a dead-cat bounce" (source: 01-Market/theses/brief-2026-05-29.md) — is unchallenged by today's data. BTC at $62,762 is $12,238 below that threshold, volume is absent, and the dominance tick-up confirms capital is not rotating into alts with conviction. Traders holding long positions have no signal to scale in or defend. The thesis remains correct.

No ETH or SOL thesis exists in the vault. For traders positioned on SOL's relative-strength trade, today's lagging move against BTC is the first crack in that narrative since it began on June 26. The decoupling may be exhausting.

4. SIGNAL NOT TO MISS

Arbitrum (ARB) entering the trending board for the first time in this data set is the single most important compositional event today. Whether this is a one-day probe or the start of an L2 infrastructure rotation will be determined by volume continuity into Friday. If ARB survives, the L2 thesis — dormant since late May — becomes active again.

5. OPEN QUESTION

If Arbitrum is re-entering mindshare after weeks of L2 absence, what does its return imply for Ethereum's own path back toward $2k?
